Questions about HCL control

Light acts as silent sales psychology by directing the customer’s attention to key products through targeted accentuation and increasing dwell time with a pleasant atmosphere. Furthermore, dynamic adjustment of the light color to the time of day (HCL) ensures that customers and employees remain focused and ready to buy for longer.
For high-quality product presentation, a CRI value of at least 90 (Ra > 90) is essential to display colors naturally and attractively. In industries such as fashion or food, excellent color rendering also prevents mispurchases and thus significantly reduces return rates.
In modern retail lighting, the answer is almost always neutral white (3500 K to 4000 K), as it represents the golden mean between atmosphere and objectivity. Cool white (above 5000 K) often appears too clinical and can unnaturally “distort” colors.
